Religon. A sensitive topic which many people may get offended by with different point of views. But is religion a real thing or is it just something we (humans) have made up to make reasonable conclusions for what is thought of as 'miracles'? Is there really a 'God' or many Gods for that fact. I tend to think not, and believe it is quite naïve how billions of people are 'brainwashed' to believe in ethereal characters and relate them to real time scenarios. Religon has been present in the past to, as I said before, conclude 'impossible' situations. But as we learn, grow and understand our natural world, we see how these 'miracles' are just unthought-of solutions to unlikely situations.
How can we use a book to be a template for life, causing deaths, wars and inhumane scenes all around the world. For example, the renown hate group, Westboro Baptist Church are preaching their deprecation of the bible and trying to get the underlying message of, for all we now, is a fiction book. Spreading their hate and injustice to many others; believing if you do not live in the wake of God, you are going to a place called 'hell' whereas their cult is going to 'heaven'.
You may have been deceived into thinking that I am an atheist, with no beliefs at all. But on the contrary, I am a well deserving Catholic, born and raised. My understanding of the bible is how it is a symbol for hope, love and prosperity; all of which are great aspects of life. However, to say your a part of a religious group which preaches hate and injustice is not what anyone intended for Religon to be.
All in all, with science continually showing up Religon and some of its ridiculous claims, we all have to ask ourselves, is this where we want to be. With hate and injustice or love and hope. It is your choice. It is your life.
